Redeemer Students

90 WEEKS!

That's how long a typical university student will spend here in Winchester (minus the holidays). At Redeemer, we want to help you make the most of each one of those weeks.

During your short time with us, we pray that your faith will be deepened, your mind stretched and your Christian character more firmly established. More than that, we want to leave you trained and equipped for a lifetime of serving Jesus, whatever that may look like for you.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

It's easy to hide in the student bubble and miss out on the real experience of a mixed, supportive spiritual family. At Redeemer Winchester we encourage students to get stuck in at our family gatherings on Sunday mornings. Some of our students help out by playing music, setting up tech equipment, looking after babies in the morning crèche, serving tea and coffee, or welcoming visitors on the door.

REDEEMER STUDENTS

Every Sunday evening we run a group just for students. This is one of the key ways we try and care for students at Redeemer. It kicks off at 4:30pm at Open House Deli in town. We have snacks, chat, Bible study and prayer. We’re done by 5:45pm when most head over to join our evening service, Redeemer@6. After Redeemer@6, people stay around for hot food.

1-2-1s | Weekend Away |Family Lunches

There’s loads more that goes on… We arrange 1-2-1s for anyone who wants to meet up with an older Christian in the church to chat through the Christian life and look at the Bible. We have an annual Weekend Away in the beautiful New Forest. And the Redeemer family love having students over for lunch on Sundays.
